ABOUT ME

I'm an artist from Nashville, TN who is currently pursuing a BA in Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts. While I consider oil and acrylic painting to be the cornerstones of my work, I have extensive experience in screen printing, sculpture, digital artwork, and photography.

My practice is grounded in ideas of the everyday and its subjectivity. This topic gained footing in my work when I moved to England and discovered a new definition of "everyday" or "normal". In my portfolio you can see elements that speak to me through this lens of disrupted visual expectations, be that through reflections, distortions or physical manipulation through sculpture.

Many of the collaborations and exhibitions I've been involved in have the common theme of mental health. It's very important to me to be involved in conversations around difficult topics such as addiction, abuse, and anxiety. I plan to keep working on projects that normalize these difficult conversations with hope that it will help others as the making of art helps me.
